This original thangka canvas painting depicts a Green lotus flower in mandala form. The lotus is one of the most important symbols in Buddhist culture. The size of this beautiful mandala is 30x 30 cm approximately.

As the lotus blossoms in mud, it symbolizes the purity of the enlightened mind amidst the suffering of samsara. It also signifies non attachment, as it is rooted in mud, but its flowers blossom and are untouched.
